Inclement Weather

Essence Studios follows the inclement weather policy of Montgomery County Public Schools, found on their website and announced on radio and TV.

Essence Studios will not hold classes if Montgomery County schools are closed due to weather. If MCPS has a delayed opening, then Essence will hold classes in the afternoon as usual. If MCPS closes early due to weather, then Essence will NOT hold classes. If schools cancel after school activities for students, even if community activities are not cancelled, then Essence will NOT hold classes. For MCPS classes or after school activities cancelled on Fridays, look for an email from Essence Studios for the status of Saturday classes.

There will be no refunds or make-up classes for missed classes due to inclement weather closure.
