Essence Studios, Dance & Performing Arts is offering an expanded selection of summer camps and classes, designed to provide a fun, exciting, and beneficial experience for all age groups in dance, acting, and musical theater!
Essence Studios’ goal is to offer a variety of dance forms to bring the joy of dance to even more members of the community. We hope to see you this summer at the studio!

SUMMER 2026 SEMESTER: June 15 – August 14
REFUND POLICY: In the case of unforeseen student/family issues or schedule changes that result in the student not being able to attend, Essence Studios will reimburse 50% of the student’s initial registration fee up to the morning of the first day of class/camp. No refunds will be issued once that camp or class begins. No refunds or make-up sessions will be available for students that miss individual classes due to illness or events outside of Essence Studios’ control.
PLEASE NOTE: Any payment by credit card at the studio or through our registration page online will include a 2.9% service fee, added to the tuition listed below. This price is reflected on the Registration page, where each item purchased through the website automatically includes this fee in the price. Below prices are only for those paying by cash or check.
DROP-OFF & PICK UP POLICY: Studio doors will open only 10 min before each camp of the day begins, however a parent/guardian must stay with their child in the lobby and waiting area until the actual start time. Essence Studios is not responsible for the care of said dancer/student until the start of camp listed below, nor responsible for watching over a student more than 10 min after the conclusion of camp. If a parent/guardian must drop off their child and leave prior to the start of camp, or is more than 10 min late in picking them up, then an additional before and after-care charge will be incurred.
SUMMER 2026 HALF-DAY JUNIOR CAMPS
June 29th – July 3rd
Unicorns, Mermaids, Dragons Dance Camp: Learn the magical ways of the creatures that bring so much wonder and joy through movement, song, games, and stories! Then enjoy a themed Friday Tea party with your new friends!

July 6th – July 10th
“Wicked” Dance Camp: Discover how we can relate to the glamorous Galinda, as well as the strong and fearless Elphaba! Dance down the yellow-brick road through the land of Oz supplemented with games, story time and enjoy a Friday Tea party with your new witch friends!

July 20th – July 24th
“Frozen” Dance Camp: Discover how we can take inspiration from one of our favorite tales that inspires strength, bravery, leadership, and beauty! Explore the ways such strong characters would move through their world with dance, games, story time, and enjoy a Friday Tea party with friends!

SUMMER 2026 FULL DAY CAMPS / INTENSIVES
July 13th – July 17th
Adolescent Ballet Camp: Ballet technique, stretching, classic repertoire introduction, and choreography exploration for your young dancer!
- 10:00am-3:00pm, with a half-hour break for lunch at 12pm
- Ages 9-14; applicable for Essence students currently enrolled in Ballet 5 (from Ballet 4/5 group), Ballet 6/7 & Teen Ballet I

July 27th – July 31st
Ballet 8 & Intermediate Intensive: . By in-person or video audition only for Non-Essence students. Carrying on tradition, the Essence Summer Intensive is for the serious ballet student. The week will include ballet technique, pointe work, variations, stretch, strength and conditioning training, as well as classic ballet repertoire/choreography taught by several guest Master teachers.
- 10:00am-3:00pm, with a half-hour break for lunch at 12pm.
- Ages 12-14; Applicable for Essence students currently enrolled in Ballet 8, Intermediate Ballet, Teen Ballet II
