Essence Studios, Dance & Performing Arts is offering an expanded selection of summer camps and classes, designed to provide a fun, exciting, and beneficial experience for all age groups in dance, acting, and musical theater!
Essence Studios’ goal is to offer a variety of dance forms to bring the joy of dance to even more members of the community. We hope to see you this summer at the studio!

REFUND POLICY: In the case of unforeseen student/family issues or schedule changes that result in the student not being able to attend, Essence Studios will reimburse 50% of the student’s initial registration fee up to the morning of the first day of class/camp. No refunds will be issued once that camp or class begins. No refunds or make-up sessions will be available for students that miss individual classes due to illness or events outside of Essence Studios’ control.
DROP-OFF & PICK UP POLICY: Studio doors will open only 10 min before each camp of the day begins, however a parent/guardian must stay with their child in the lobby and waiting area until the actual start time. Essence Studios is not responsible for the care of said dancer/student until the start of camp listed below, nor responsible for watching over a student 10 min after the conclusion of camp. If a parent/guardian must drop off their child and leave prior to the start of camp, or is more than 10 min late in picking them up, then an additional before and after-care charge will be incurred.
SUMMER 2025 HALF-DAY JUNIOR CAMPS
June 16th – June 20th **No camp, Thursday June 19th**
Fairy Tale Fantasy: 9:30am-12:00pm, ages 4-6 (ballet/creative movement). $180 cash or check, $185.40 by credit card. Get inspired by our favorite fantastical stories, characters, and creatures as we dance, enjoy story-time, themed crafts, and a Friday Tea party! **No camp on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth** Attire: leotard and tights, ballet shoes
Elementary Musical Theater Camp: 1:00pm-3:30pm, ages 7-11 (singing, dancing, acting) $200 cash or check, $206.00 by credit card. Explore what it takes to become a triple threat as we sing, dance, and act our way through the week! Will culminate in a mini show/performance put on for families on the last day of camp! **No camp on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth** Attire: Must bring either ballet shoes or jazz shoes. Campers will wear close fitting clothing that completely covers the torso, chest, and legs down to the knees. This includes full length and ¾ leggings, leotards, tank tops, tighter T-shirts, etc.
June 23rd – June 27th
Unicorns & Mermaids Dance Camp: 9:30am-12:00pm, ages 4-6 (ballet/tap). $225 cash or check, $231.75 by credit card. Learn the magical ways of the creatures that bring so much wonder and joy through movement, song, games, and stories!
Attire: leotard and tights, ballet shoes, and tap shoes
June 30th – July 3rd **No camp Friday, July 4**
“Frozen” Dance Camp: 9:30am-12:00pm, ages 4-6 (ballet/tap). $180 cash or check, $185.40 by credit card. Discover how we can take inspiration from one of our favorite tales that inspires strength, bravery, leadership, and beauty! Explore the ways such strong characters would move through their world with dance, games and story time. **No camp, Friday July 4th**

July 28th – Aug 1st
Animal Safari Dance Camp: 9:30am-12:00pm, ages 4-6 (ballet/tap). $225 cash or check, $231.75 by credit card. Discover how we can take inspiration to move from different animals and bring your favorite stuffed animal to enjoy the day with you! Join us in our journey across various ecosystems as we dance, tell stories, do crafts and experiments, and enjoy a Friday Tea party with our furry friends!

SUMMER 2025 FULL DAY CAMPS / INTENSIVES
July 14th – July 18th
Ballet 8 & Intermediate Intensive: 10:00am-3:00pm, with a half-hour break for lunch at noon. Ages 12-14. (Applicable for Essence students currently enrolled in Ballet 8, Intermediate Ballet & Teen Ballet II). By in-person or video audition only for Non-Essence students. $725.00 cash or check, $746.75 by credit card. Carrying on tradition, the Essence Summer Intensive is for the serious ballet student. The week will include ballet technique, pointe work, variations, stretch, strength and conditioning training, as well as classic ballet repertoire/choreography taught by several guest Master teachers.
July 21st – July 25th
Adolescent Ballet Camp: 10:00am-3:00pm, with a half-hour break for lunch at 12pm, ages 8-11 (applicable for Essence students currently enrolled in Ballet 5 (from Ballet 4/5 group), Ballet 6/7 & Teen Ballet I). $525 cash or check, $540.75 by credit card. Ballet technique, stretching, classic repertoire introduction, and choreography exploration for your young dancer!
